KCCO WILL BE CLOSED MON & TUES JULY 3 & 4.

New 2017 Meeting Directories now available .50 each. (KCCO paid .61 each for them.) Beginner's Packet price changes to $3.00. KCCO is here as a service to AA, but we cannot operate in the red; at the end of last year we were $5000 in the red. Most Central Offices around the U.S. and Canada charge for their meeting directories; we have held off on that, but must follow suit.

PLEASE HELP! ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ANSWER 24 HR AA HOTLINE!! IN JUNE AND BEYOND, 9:00 AM TO 1:00 PM MORNING SHIFTS  ARE OPEN FOR MON, TUES & THURS MORNINGS. SHIFT REQUIRES AA PERSON WITH SOME YEARS EXPERIENCE, SINCE YOU WILL BE ALONE. AFTERNOONS, 1:00 PM TO 5:00 PM, WED IS OPEN. WE ASK FOR A ONE MONTH COMMITMENT. JUST 4 HRS A WK FOR A MONTH.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR SUBS TO FILL IN WHEN A VOLUNTEER CAN'T MAKE IT. PLEASE CALL KCCO 913-9216. WHEN NOBODY IS AVAIABLE TO FILL A SHIFT, KCCO TURNS THE PHONES OVER TO A PROFESSIONAL ANSWERING SERVICE, SO WHEN SOMEONE WANTS HELP, THEY DO NOT REACH AN AA MEMBER. NOT GOOD!!!

AA Preamble

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women
who share their experience, strength and hope with
each other that they may solve their common problem and help
others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop
drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership: we are
self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied
with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or
institution; does not wish to engage in any conroversy, neither
endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay
sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
